The Board of the New Blue Party

Gary Alford - Cambridge, Ontario.

Allison Bruns - Allison lives in Norfolk County with her husband Nathan and their daughter. Allison has volunteered on general election and leadership campaigns.  In 2017, she was interviewed by the CBC for attending a freedom of speech demonstration at Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo in support of teaching assistant Lindsay Shepherd.  Allison told the CBC "People shouldn't feel beat down so much they can't express themselves.”  In 2019, Allison attended a demonstration at Queen’s Park joining other parents critical of Doug Ford and the PC government’s betrayal of their campaign promise to scrap the Liberal sex-ed curriculum. After growing tired of watching phony politicians like Doug Ford, Christine Elliott, and the rest of the PC Party, use families, people of faith, and taxpayers, for their votes only to end up betraying them, Allison decided Ontario needed a new and blue political party.

Nathan Bruns - Nathan lives in Norfolk County with his wife Allison and their daughter.  He is a professional engineer practicing in the Nuclear Industry and is a graduate of the University of Waterloo.  Nathan’s political experience includes executive roles on riding association boards and volunteering on general election and leadership campaigns.

Belinda Karahalios - Belinda is a Member of Provincial Parliament in the Ontario legislature representing the riding of Cambridge.  She is a co-founder of the New Blue Party of Ontario and lives in Cambridge with her husband Jim and their son Victor.

Jim Karahalios - Jim is a co-founder of the New Blue Party of Ontario.  He lives in Cambridge with his wife Belinda and their son Victor.

Bill Murphy - Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.

Annie Nolan - Annie is a wife and mother of one who lives in Huron-Bruce. She is a graduate of Seneca College and has worked as a bartender, office administrator, direct marketing contact agent, graphic designer, and writer.  She has worked in general election campaigns on direct voter contact and outreach.  She was an active volunteer with the Ontario PC Party until the November 2018 PC convention executive election where she witnessed substantial election irregularities - whereby more ballots were cast than voters who voted - to crown Brian Patterson as the illegitimate PC Party “president.” Click here for a report on that convention election.

Lillo Ognibene - Born and raised in Waterloo region, Lillo is a married father of two. He has run nomination races and held senior roles on riding associations boards at the federal and provincial levels.  Lillo has also served as a volunteer in a senior capacity on several political campaigns including general elections, internal party executive convention elections, and leadership elections.  In 2019, as president of the Cambridge PC riding association board, Lillo wrote a letter (click here for a copy) to Doug Ford challenging the Premier’s close ties to the lobbyists running the Ontario PC Party and influencing the Ontario government. Click here for Globe and Mail coverage of the letter. In 2021, Lillo and 19 other board members of the Cambridge PC riding association board were unlawfully expelled from the Ontario PC Party by the PC executive led by illegitimate “president” Brian Patterson.

Mark Trueman - Mark lives in Cambridge.  He is a blue-collar worker in production and finishing line operation.  Prior to that he attended school at Heritage Bible College.  He has volunteered in several general election campaigns and has served as a board member on riding associations at the federal and provincial level.
