Belinda Karahalios Calls Out the Insider Controlled Queen’s Park Media
Wednesday, February 9th, 2022
It’s a sad state of affairs when, for the last 18 months, the insider controlled media at Queen’s Park (like The Toronto Sun’s Brian Lilley who is literally in bed with a member of the Ford PC government) doesn’t report on the plight of Ontarians losing their educations, jobs, and loved ones, doesn’t report on the New Blue’s solutions, and doesn’t report on the corrupt practices of the establishment PC and Liberal parties. But the insider controlled QP media - like Lilley - share false statements and ask for an “explanation” based on those false statements on my public and transparent disclosures.
I will take the opportunity to correct these false statements and be transparent as always. First, I oppose mandates. Second, I do not own shares in a company that has an approved COVID-19 vaccine. Novavax, at the time, was trying to make an ethical COVID-19 vaccine: not mRNA based and not using aborted fetal cells. I supported this as it was in line with my values and principles. The product was never going to get approved for use in Canada because big-pharma and their mRNA vaccines have the Ford PC government and Trudeau Liberal government lobbyists on retainer. My investment of 30 shares ($8,775.26) resulted in a loss of over $6,000. I no longer own the shares.
The insider controlled media at Queen’s Park is well aware of the lobbyist registry and the assets and interests of those in control of the Ford PC government. But the media tries to discredit those, like me, who challenge the decision makers, while not revealing the close ties between the Ford PC government’s positions resulting in direct financial gain for PC lobbyists and possibly even PC MPPs. For example: the PC Campaign Manager owning a lobbying firm that represents Amazon and big-pharma companies that produce mandated vaccines and Minister Stephen Lecce holding shares in a cannabis company while voting in favour of the Ford PC government’s cannabis legislation in 2018.
We expect more of these attempts to discredit us as we approach the June 2nd election because we have promised that the New Blue Party of Ontario will propose policies to sever the cozy relationship between media and lobbyists and those in charge of the Ontario government.
