Doug Ford's Debt Explosion

Under Doug Ford’s PCs, Ontario’s debt is blowing up to record highs.

Instead of reining in spending, the Ford PCs have doubled down on the tax-and-spend policies of the previous Liberal government.

Our provincial net debt is expected to cross the half-trillion mark (reaching a projected $501.7 billion) by next year.

And every month, over $1.3 billion is drained from taxpayers’ pockets just to cover interest on the debt.

Ford’s Progressives continue to prove that they are not fiscally responsible and cannot be trusted with taxpayer dollars.

The good news is that we have an opportunity to hold the PC government accountable and send a message to Queen’s Park.

On September 3, voters in three provincial by-elections will head to the polls:

Hamilton East—Stoney Creek
Scarborough Southwest
York—Simcoe

The New Blue Party is running principled candidates in all three ridings to stand up against the progressive establishment, challenge the tax-and-spend Ford PCs, and restore fiscal sanity to Ontario.
