Ford PCs: More Liberal Than Ottawa?
Many young Ontarians can’t find work and are struggling to afford housing, let alone homeownership. So what is Doug Ford worried about?
He’s worried that too many temporary foreign workers might go home.
At an event in Calgary last week, Ford complained that temporary workers are being sent home when their visas expire. He warned that the drop in their numbers is “so dangerous for our country”!
That’s right ...
The Ontario PC Party is pushing to keep more temporary workers in the country, not fewer.
The PCs want cheap labour for big corporations — corporations that can afford lobbyists at Queen’s Park.
Young people pay the price in lower wages and higher housing costs.
