Standing for Life - Help Us Reach Our Year-End Goal
For too long in Ontario politics, pro-life supporters have been taken for granted.
The Ontario PCs say the right things while in opposition, only to abandon pro-life values once in government.
The New Blue Party exists to change that.
We are proud to be Ontario’s only true blue provincial party that openly welcomes and promotes pro-life candidates. Most of our past candidates have been pro-life, and unlike the PCs, Liberals, or NDP, our commitments don’t disappear when power is on the line.
The Ontario PCs’ record speaks for itself:
• Every single PC MPP present voted in favour of Kathleen Wynne’s 2017 “bubble zone” law, criminalizing peaceful pro-life expression — even silent prayer — near abortion clinics.
• During their COVID lockdowns, the Ford PCs postponed life-saving surgeries and kept families apart, yet allowed elective abortions to continue without interruption.
• The Ford government has continued Liberal-era secrecy by refusing to release abortion data to the public.
None of these are neutral actions by the Ontario PCs.
They are hostile.
We recognize that abortion’s legality is a federal matter.
But even many Ontarians who describe themselves as pro-choice do not believe their tax dollars should fund elective abortion, and they expect basic transparency about how public money is being used.
On both counts, Doug Ford’s Ontario PCs have failed.
The New Blue is different by design. We are Ontario’s only provincial party with a grassroots policy process. At our 2024 conference, our members proposed and passed the following policies:
27. Provincial Health Coverage re. Pregnancy
The New Blue Party supports defunding elective abortion.
29. Sanctity of Human Life
The New Blue Party supports the protection and dignity of all human life from conception to natural death.
As we approach year-end, we have an ambitious but necessary goal: to raise $300,000.
