On Friday, General Motors announced it will halt production of electric vans in Ingersoll, Ontario. This decision comes just two years after Doug Ford’s PC government teamed up with the Trudeau Liberals to spend $259 million in taxpayer money retooling the assembly plant for EV production.

Canada’s federal election campaign has been underway for 19 days, and that’s been more than enough time for Doug Ford to display his true (red) colours. So far, Ford has done nothing but heap praise on Mark Carney and the federal Liberals.

The Ontario PCs don’t just expel anyone who stands up for true blue values — there is no longer any democratic mechanism within the Ontario PC Party.

On Monday, Doug Ford took to social media to applaud Mark Carney for removing the federal consumer carbon tax, calling it “the worst tax ever.” The irony? Doug Ford imposed his own carbon tax in Ontario.
