DEI: The Ford PCs’ Education Initiative
When it comes to the woke agenda in education, the Doug Ford PCs picked up where the Wynne Liberals left off.
In late August, the Ford government quietly released a progress report for their so-called “Anti-Racism Strategic Plan.”
It’s a blueprint for the same Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) nonsense that is destroying our institutions, and Ontario’s Progressive “Conservatives” are leading the charge.
The PCs are focused on:
Government-Sponsored Segregation
They’re funnelling tens of millions of tax dollars into race-specific “graduation coaches” and $118 million into “board action plans” geared exclusively toward students of certain racial identities, rather than individual academic needs.
Re-education Sessions for Teachers
Every single PA day is now a mandate for what the Ontario PCs call “anti-racism” training. Our tax dollars are being used to hammer the “oppressor vs. oppressed” narrative into the people teaching our children.
Policing Speech
They have reclassified “hateful remarks” as professional misconduct for teachers. But in Doug Ford’s Ontario, “hate” is defined by whatever the woke mob finds offensive today — effectively chilling free speech in our schools.
It’s time to get identity politics out of the classroom and get back to the basics.
A truly conservative government would defund DEI initiatives.
But the Ontario PC Party are the new Liberals, pushing the exact same social engineering that the McGuinty-Wynne Liberals did for 15 years.
The New Blue Party is the only viable alternative to the PCs, standing up for common sense, parental rights, and the principle that every student should be treated as an individual — not as a victim, “oppressor,” or demographic statistic.
