Doug Ford Endorses Olivia Chow
If you had any remaining doubts that Doug Ford is a liberal, hearing his recent comments will erase them entirely.
At a press conference on September 16, Ford stood alongside Toronto’s far-left, socialist Mayor Olivia Chow and told voters to “read between the lines” when asked if he supported her in the mayoral race.
He then praised their personal and financial relationship:
“The mayor and I have a phenomenal relationship ... we’ve given the City of Toronto more money than they’ve ever seen in their lives — over $9 billion.”
Yes.
The leader of the Ontario PC Party is propping up one of the most radical, left-wing mayors in Canada.
And while the PCs’ backroom spin doctors rushed to clean up Ford’s comments in the days since, the reality is already out in the open:
Bailing out failed left-wing policies: The Ford PC government has transferred billions from Ontario taxpayers straight into Chow’s Toronto budget.
Abandoning conservative principles: Standing shoulder-to-shoulder with the federal Liberals and NDP stalwarts instead of championing tax relief.
The Establishment Coalition: Ontario’s PCs and NDP working together to maintain status-quo spending while families and small businesses pay the price.
Doug Ford is, once again, standardizing the Liberal-NDP tax-and-spend mentality across Ontario.
The New Blue Party of Ontario is the ONLY true conservative alternative.
