Ford PCs Back Carney's Agenda
Are the Ford PCs conspiring with the Carney Liberals to call an early federal election?
Last month, The Globe and Mailreported that, in a meeting, Doug Ford told Mark Carney that an early election would provide "an opportunity to win a clear majority mandate."
That came just days after Doug Ford announced that he and Mark Carney agree on "ninety-nine percent of issues."
Ford also said in January that he "one hundred percent" supported Carney’s remarks at the World Economic Forum, where Carney warned that "the old order is not coming back."
The Ontario PC Party hasn't been hiding its alignment with the Liberal Party of Canada. They've been saying it out loud.
Doug Ford's Progressives have made it clear that they have no interest in conservatism, and would rather appeal to federal Liberal voters.
Grassroots conservatives need a voice at Queen's Park.
