PCs Quick to Promote Woke Education Policies

Last Wednesday, Doug Ford’s PC Minister of Education, Paul Calandra, ordered the Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board to fly the orange flag at schools on “Truth and Reconciliation” Day — against the wishes of local school trustees.  

Previously, local school trustees voted that only the Canadian, Ontario, or school board flags would be flown.

This decision was reversed with one stroke of the pen by the Ford PC government, who instead chose to promote a federal holiday created by Justin Trudeau. 

In doing so, the PCs demonstrated that they have all the power they need to make meaningful changes to our education system.

For seven years, the Ford PCs have blamed left-wing activists and unions for their failure on education.

They have used their powers to promote woke policies and appease left wing activists, instead.

Ontarians deserve a government that will implement substantive reforms in education.

The New Blue Party of Ontario is the only viable alternative to the establishment parties.
