A provincial by-election in Scarborough Southwest is imminent.

If Doug Ford issues the writ on the last possible deadline of August 3rd, election day would be Thursday, September 3rd.

That means a summer campaign is officially upon us!

We want to hear from you by Monday, June 1st if you are interested in being a New Blue candidate!

You can also reply to this email if you’re thinking of running but have questions. Don’t be intimidated. It is a fairly straightforward process and—dare I say it—fun!

You do not need to live in a riding to be a candidate on the ballot there.

While it’s ideal to have local representation, the most important thing is that the people of Scarborough Southwest are given the option to vote for a candidate who represents the New Blue Party and our values. We will not allow the Ford Progressives and Ontario’s left-wing establishment to go unchallenged.
