The Establishment: One Big Spending Club
We all know that Doug Ford's PC government imposed authoritarian COVID policies, promotes “woke” ideology in education, is not pro life, and does not respect property rights.
But some say we must settle for the Ontario PC Party because they are the only “fiscally responsible” establishment option.
The problem is that the PCs have the exact same big-government spending habits as the McGuinty-Wynne Liberals before them!
Under the PCs, interest on our provincial debt has ballooned to $1.3 billion per month.
That is a 28% increase since they came to power in 2018.
If the current projected spending growth rates continue in Ontario, interest payments on the debt will surpass all spending on social services, becoming the third-largest line item in the budget by 2030.
This must end.
The upcoming provincial by-elections in York-Simcoe and Scarborough Southwest are our opportunity to send a message to the establishment: PCs, Liberals, and NDP alike.
