The Ontario PCs keep moving left.
The New Blue Party exists because the Ontario PC Party has become an extension of the federal Liberal Party of Canada.
The Ford PCs have embraced the same reckless, big-government spending the Wynne Liberals engaged in—except the PCs are actually spending more, even when you completely strip away COVID-19 "emergency" spending!
This is the reality of Ontario's current fiscal trajectory:
Skyrocketing Debt
Ontario's net debt has surged by 44% since the PCs took office. They have added $121 billion to our provincial debt since 2018-19, with an additional $26 billion projected for this fiscal year alone.
Corporate Welfare
The Ford government now directs roughly $9.5 billion in taxpayer dollars annually toward corporate subsidies—with $7.5 billion of that total having already gone exclusively to multinational EV manufacturers and battery plants.
Unprecedented Taxpayer Subsidies
Between 2017 and 2025, Ontario's spending on corporate welfare increased by 182%. That is more than double the increase seen in Quebec over the same period, despite Quebec's historical reputation for aggressive market intervention.
The New Blue Party believes this recklessness must end, for the sake of current taxpayers and future generations.
And without a threat from the right, the Ontario PC Party will keep moving left.
The upcoming by-elections in York-Simcoe and Scarborough Southwest are our opportunity to challenge the establishment and advocate for true blue fiscal responsibility.
