Under the Ontario PCs:
More than 2.5 million Ontarians do not have a family doctor.
52% of Ontario’s current family physicians are considering retirement or plan to retire within the next 5 years.
Emergency room wait times have increased by nearly 25% since 2020.
After eight years of Ford PC rule, Ontario’s healthcare system is in worse shape than it was under the terrible McGuinty-Wynne Liberals!
With the amount of taxes Ontarians shoulder, this level of service failure should not be happening.
At the New Blue, we are focused on solutions. We are also Ontario’s only provincial party with a grassroots policy process.

Policy 24: Rehire the Nurses
The New Blue Party supports rehiring nurses and health care workers fired due to COVID-19 mandates.
Policy 25: Offer Choice in Services
The New Blue Party supports clearing procedure backlogs by offering choice in health care services, including private options.
These are practical solutions — and they only move forward if we have the resources to fight.
