Thank You for 5 Incredible Years of New Blue
As we gather with family and friends this Thanksgiving, I want to take a moment to extend my heartfelt thanks for your support and dedication to the New Blue Party of Ontario.
This Thanksgiving is especially meaningful as we mark an important milestone in our shared journey.
Five years ago, on Thanksgiving Day in 2020, Jim and I announced that we had received approval from Elections Ontario to start a new provincial political party—one rooted in principle, accountability, and the values on which Ontario was founded.
Since that day, we’ve made remarkable progress together.
We ran hundreds of candidates in our first two Ontario elections. The New Blue became entrenched as Ontario's fifth-largest provincial party, standing strong behind the PCs, Liberals, NDP, and just behind the Greens—who have been established for more than 40 years.
As we look ahead to the next five years, our mission remains clear: to keep building the New Blue from the ground up in order to challenge the left, balance the narrative, and change the course in Ontario.
This Thanksgiving, we are especially grateful for our dedicated supporters—the volunteers, candidates, and everyday Ontarians who believe in this movement and make our progress possible.
