The Ford PCs’ True (Red) Colours
After engineering five floor-crossings, the Carney Liberals secured a majority government through three by-elections on Monday.
The next day, Doug Ford was already bragging.
The leader of Ontario’s Progressive “Conservatives” gushed that he and Carney have a “great working relationship,” and that he looks forward to working with the Liberals because their new majority gives them a “stronger hand” to deal with President Trump.
This shouldn’t come as a surprise, of course.
Prior to these by-elections, Ford praised Carney on numerous occasions.
The Ontario PC Party is a provincial extension of the federal Liberals.
And by refusing to challenge the federal government on anything, the Ford PCs are shifting Ontario’s political landscape further to the left.
From running higher deficits than the Liberals ever did, to continuing Kathleen Wynne’s legacy in the education system, the Ontario PC Party has proven itself beyond redemption.
The New Blue Party of Ontario was formed in 2020 to give every true blue Ontarian a real alternative.
We exist to challenge Ontario’s corrupt political establishment and clean house at Queen's Park. We will not stand by while the Ford PCs’ deception goes unchallenged.
